When kids are learning to read it really doesn't take long, does it? She bounced from Attack of the 50Ft. I was most struck by how far past this book Brontë is now.

Insomnia kicked in, but I didn't have the attention span for my other books, Jonathan Strange and Mr. Brontë finished it months ago, but my own books got in the way, and I never seemed to make it around to Franny and her mad science - until last night. I've needed to read this for quite some time.
